Gopika is expecting and who could be more happy that Gopika and her husband Akhilesh. Unfortunately the couple will have to take this with a pinch of salt, for like any other floating news, this is yet another half-baked truth. To spill the truth, Gopika is back in the Malayalam film industry to act in the movie Swa Le (Swantham Lekhakan) by cameraman turned director P Sukumar.
In this movie Gopika can be seen as the wife of a journalist, Dileep. She is seen as a pregnant lady in this movie. When asked about her married life and her decision to make a comeback, Gopika has her answers ready, “It was my husband Akhilesh who after hearing the story of Swa Le, asked me to do the film. I have given 15 days for the film which should be completed by July 15. I have to go back to Ireland to celebrate my first wedding anniversary for which my husband has made elaborate preparations.”
Now who can dare to deny that an actress can be both an ideal wife and a successful career woman.
But when enquired about her future acting plans Gopika made it clear, “Not immediately. But if the right script comes around and if all goes well, may do another film.”
