The New Year starts with a sizzle for Hot Kareena Kapoor who after gracing the covers of many glitzy magazines will now be seen on the cover of the January issue of GQ. This is yet another first in the long list of achievements for the glamorous actress as this is the first time a Bollywood actress will be seen on the cover of GQ.

Reveals a source, “Kareena will feature on the front page of the January issue of GQ India, where she will be seen wearing a red satin gown and sporting a trendy short bob.”

Others to have grazed the covers of GQ have been the beautiful Monica Belluci, the scintillating Beyonce, Hollywood’s hottest Megan Fox, and the lovable Jennifer Aniston and now joining the ranks of these is Bollywood Hot Spicy Actress Kareena Kapoor.

Be it haute couture or ethnic chic there is no denying that Kareena Kapoor is the fashion icon of the season.

Kareena Kapoor is the sexiest vegetarian of 2009

Kareena Kapoor has been named the sexiest vegetarian of 2009 along with cricketer S Sreesanth in a poll organized by animal welfare charity PETA.

She has shed the size-zero frame and regained her curves. But that is not why Kareena has been voted the sexiest vegetarian by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The primary reason is Kareena is fondness for vegetarian food.

Kareena’s svelte figure was enough to win out competition from fellow Bollywood veggies Malika Sherawat, Amrita Rao and Amrita Rao as well as Hollywood babes Natalie Portman and Reese Witherspoon.

India’s star bowler, Sreesanth, was also in a competitive field with other global vegetarians including Anil Kumble, Amitabh Bachchan and American rapper Andre 3000.

"When you look at the dozens of gorgeous celebrities in this year's poll, there are no bones about it - a vegetarian diet makes you beautiful inside and out", said Anuradha Sawhney of PETA India.

"After all, going vegetarian is the best thing you can do for the animals, the earth and your health," Sawhney added.

The online contest, conducted by PETA India's youth arm, petaDishoom, had Kareena scoring over other contenders like Aditi Govitrikar , Hansika Motwani , Mallika Sherawat and Mahima Chaudhary .
