Ramya Nambeesan - joins the wagon

Malayalam filmi heroines had been through great times for the past few years, making big names all through the South Indian industry. All the lead heroines of Kerala are getting big films in Tamil and other South languages, which has started a trend for every upcoming heroine to make a try in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.








The latest to join the group is Ramya Nambeesan who debuted through the Jayaram starrer ‘Aanachandham’. She had agreed to share the lead with Cheran in the new Tamil film ‘Raman Thediya Seetha’. Directed by Jaganji, the film is produced by Monsaphiyar Productions. Ramya is presently enjoying the success of ‘Chocolate’ which had her in a prominent role.

Ramya Nambeesan - No to bikinis

Remember Ramya Nambeesan who played a role in Raman Thediya Seethai with Cheran in the Moser Baer production? Well the actor is back in a de glam role in Vetattam, directed by DS Kannan who is debuting with this film.





The actor will shortly be seen in Aatanayagan opposite Shakthi, the son of director P Vasu. She has so far done six movies in Malyalam and is looking for a good break in Tamil. “I will do skin show only if needed,” she says, but saying an absolute No to bikinis.






In Vetattam she plays a village girl in a role without make up. “I want to do a variety of films. Cinema is all about luck and timing,” she says about her fledgeling career in Tamil.
