A long-standing wish of comely Keralaite actress Kavya Madhavan has fructified at long last. Though she has remained the Number one heroine in Malayalam cinema for years on end, Kavya had never managed to be the heroine of either of the two reigning megastars of Hollywood.Well, the ‘bindaas’ belle from Nileshwaram in North Malabar has accomplished that feat. It has been a double delight for the doe-eyed beauty, who has been teamed up with Mammootty not in one film, but two. The first film in which she will play Mammookka’s heroine is the Joshi-directed flick, titled ‘Nasrani’, depicting Christian life in a Kerala village. Then Kavya plays the wife of Mammootty in KK Rajeev’s debut film as director as well, according to the grapevine. No wonder, Ms Madhavan is grinning literally from ear to ear. Why grudge her sense of elation? She is well and truly in the august company of a megastar after years of agonizing wait. Congrats, Kavya!
