Vidya Balan declines to appear in Ishqiya in a raunchy number

The actress has been a lot in the news off late. First, it was her newly acquired lean look that caught media’s attention.

Now, she is the talk of the town owing to her bold role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming flick Ishqiya. The film has a rural setting where she essays the role of a widow.

In the movie she shares screen space with Arshad Warsi and veteran Naseeruddin Shah and is shown engaging in offensive talks without any remorse.

Vidya also has performed some steamy shots for the camera in Ishqiya. But, she put her foot down when she felt that a song in which she was to appear with her two-male co-stars was too raunchy.

She expressed her denial to perform the song to Vishal Bhardwaj who immediately relented to her request.
