The US Malayalee Association has honored actress Gopika with the Padmini Ramachandran award for the 'Best Women Film Personality'. The association has announced this award in honor of the Late Padmini Ramachandran who was a long time member of the association.
Gopika , the young beauty, is one of the successful heroines in the South Indian Film Industry. She has many Malayalam and Tamil hits to her credit and has also acted in Kannada and Telugu films.
She came back to film industry after her marriage through 'Swa Le' which was a motherly character.
