Priyanka to play Mohanlal's wife in 'Seven Husbands'

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is now set to play Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s wife in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next movie Seven Husbands.

“Mohanlal will be playing one of Priyanka’s husbands in Seven Husbands. The names of other actors are being kept under wraps as of now,” a source close to the actress told IANS.

This will be for the second time that Priyanka will play multiple characters in a single film. She had essayed 12 roles in Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Rashee?, but the film failed to pull in audiences.

Seven Husbands” is Bharadwaj’s next venture after his acclaimed movie Kaminey, which also starred Priyanka. The movie is said to be co-written by Bharadwaj and author Ruskin Bond.

Mohanlal invites Amitabh to Mollywood to act in Major Ravi's Hijack

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has invited Amitabh Bachchan to act with him in a Malayalam film after the Big B expressed his desire to work with Lal. A self confessed Amitabh fan Mohanlal told reporters that the Bollywood icon will accept his invitation.

The two biggies were last seen in the flop 'Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag' which is a worst remake of Sholay, In that Hindi film Mohanlal played Thakur Baldev Singh and Bachchan played Gabbar Singh.

The story of the new film will revolve around the life of soldiers and Major Ravi will direct. Major Ravi had earlier worked with Mohanlal in the film ‘Keerthichakra’ which was also dubbed in Tamil as ‘Aran’. The film also had Jeeva and Gopika in main roles.

Janakan

After Adv. Harikrishnan, Adv Sivaramakrishnan, Adv. O. M. Ramanathan now Mohanlal is acting as Adv. Devadutta, in 'Janakan'. It was said that Suresh Gopi as the gero, and lal was acting only for 40 or 45 min.

'Janakan' was said to be released in Nov 20. But now it was then postponed to Decmber or January.

Mohanlal - Jackiechan's new Japanese film

Mohanlal - Jackiechan's new Japanese film is coming soon. This will be a world wide release film. The film will be released in 1035 theaters in Hindi, English, Japanese. Lal said that it will be a good experience to work in such a language and such a great actor. This film will be going to be released in 2010.

Kavya Madhavan back with Mohan Lal

Have you heard this one ? Kavya Madhavan, who was supposed to play the lead in Major Ravi’s Madan Kolli has backed out of the project. And believe it or not, she will be Mohanlal’s heroine in Joshiy’s next, which has been titled Christian Brothers. The film’s star cast also includes Dileep and Suresh Gopi. Prithviraj and Jayasurya who were there in the project as per rumours, are no more in the scheme of things. The film has been scripted by Siby K Thomas-Udayakrishnan, who made Twenty 20 with Joshiy last year. Kavya was Mohanlal’s heroine in Madambi earlier.

Kavya became the head lines of many magazines and other news papers after her marriage. She had been now acting to movies and this however will make her fans happy. But let us all just wait and see how and in which all films she will act and how she is going to reply to all those questions asking to her now about her life.
